March Cooking Class: Open Fire Cooking

If you have visited our farm dinners in the summer, you will have no doubt experienced our love of open fire cooking here at the Lyceum. As the weather starts to thaw a bit (finger crossed) we will venture outdoors to learn the basics of open fire and brick oven cooking.

Classes will start with demonstrations, and then lead into group instruction outdoors (don't forget to dress accordingly..) We will then come into our farm kitchen in the carriage house, and work through preparing the extra sauces and ingredients to accompany our hard won wood fired luncheon.

Light snacks and warm beverages will be served throughout the class which will conclude with communal lunch featuring the final composed dishes we made in the class.

Space is limited to 12 guests. Due to the intimate size and limited time, we will be unable to accommodate any deviations from the planned menu.
